Beis Soroh Schenierer opened its doors in 1988. Upon the encouragement and guidance of the Manchester Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yehuda Zev Segal זצ״ל, a committee of prominent askanim and rabbanim established BSS with the goal of providing an institution that would fully prepare girls for their future, both spiritually and practically.

Gary Silver takes us on a highly emotional journey back in time to re live the horrors of the Holocaust during WW2. Sam Laskier, Sam Gontarz and Ike Alterman tell their stories of life, before, during and after the war. They include stories of how they survived The Warsaw Ghetto, Auschwitz and their life afterwards in England. All of them lost their closest family members and the three became family to each other in Manchester and at Whitefield Golf Club.
